'Fair' Prices : Peasants and the possibilities of a Living Income (including a case study of Burkina Faso)

YSfD-ZambiaIn 2013 Youth Skills for Development, a partner of InfoBridge Foundation in the TelecentresAfrica project, was invited by InfoBridge to join the Community Outreach Programme (COP) of the Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, and implement yearly a Community Outreach Project in Kitwe City, on the Copperbelt Province of Zambia.

COP is a partnership programme between the Radboud University, The Netherlands, in collaboration with InfoBridge Foundation, and a number of local project partners from selected developing countries in Africa and Asia. Youth Skills for Development signed a contract to be a local partner, joining three other projects in Zambia and in total twelve other projects from eight countries around the world that are taking part in the COP programme.

A report on the COP project in Kitwe in 2013 prepared by Simon Wandila, the project leader of Youth Skills for Development, can be found here. Also this year a large group of students will go to Kitwe (Zambia).
