Activities and projects by InfoBridge Foundation can be divided over three main programmes:

  • Applied Research for Development
  • Capacity development and Learning
  • Knowledge sharing and Innovation.

Applied Research for Development
Fair Price Research is an important area for InfoBridge and is focused on the methodology how to calculate fair prices for smallholder farms. In this programme InfoBridge cooperates with the Living Income Community of Practice, Living Wage Lab and other researchers and practitioners. Several papers have been published so far in different magazines and the work has been discussed at several congresses and webinars. Work on a book about the Living Income / Fair Price method is underway.

Capacity development and Learning
Building on the activities in the TeleSupport Capacity Building Programme of InfoBridge since 2002 this programme is focusing on ICT4D and information and knowledge management, and training, institutional development and skills development of local partners in Africa and Asia, specifically those that are supporting underprivileged groups in rural and sub-urban areas.

Knowledge sharing and Innovation
Knowledge sharing is one of the cornerstones for innovation in development. In this programme InfoBridge Foundation will be developing knowledge services and products together with partners to support local partners and communities in Africa and Asia.
